K&K – Auctions in Heidelberg open the autumn season witha large collection of modern art from the 1980s/ 90s from a Palatinate bank, including works by Madeleine Dietz, Andreas Gerhard, Franz Gerner, Manfred Jäger, Erich Koch, Francois Lafranca, Chris Newman, Andrea Ostermeyer, Christine Reifenberger, Gernot Rumpf ( including the monumental Minotaur), Otto Rumpf, Susanne Wadle and many more. There is also signicant modern and old fine arts from private estates, including names such as Rudi Baerwind, Hans Bötel, Edward Theodor Compton, K.F. Dahmen, Penelope Davis, Kate Greenaway, Karl Korab, Georg Philipp I. Rugendas, Jan Soucek, Günther Uecker, and Philips Wouwerman.

One of the outstanding works of art at the auction is the Ursula bust, a reliquary container from the Rhenish school of the 14th century. (Estimate: € 6000-7000, – / reserve price: € 1800, -); In the Art Nouveau glass, the spectacular sized Soliflore with wild wine (estimate: 3000-3500, – / reserve price: € 1200, -) and the large spherical vase with rose decor by Gallé (estimate: € 1200-1500, – / reserve price: € 500 , -) as well as the spherical vase with chestnut leaves by Daum (estimate: 1200-1500, – / reserve price: € 500, -) should be mentioned. The large collection of antiquarian books for children and young people (all with a reserve price of € 20) might be of interest to book collectors. In addition, Asian works of art, porcelain, silver, jewelry and carpets, including antique Kuba Sumaks, a silk palace carpet from the Hall of Middle Harmony in Beijing, and numerous small silk Herekes (all with a reserve price of € 20) are on the sale.
